Nuisance odor problems are serious concerns for those charged
with the responsibility of solving them, but care must be
taken to avoid creating even larger, more serious problems in
the pursuit of solutions. Such potential dangers clearly exist
-- most commonly through the endangerment of the health and
safety of operators and of the environment. Many products in
commercial use are toxic, create toxic by-products, are
explosive, flammable, corrosive and damaging to the air, to
plants, animals and microbial life. Certainly any product used
to combat nuisance odors must be effective, but very careful
consideration should be given to the potential hazards it my
pose.
