PERSNICKETY® Brand odor specific
counteractants, when blended with malodors, form a third, neutral
scent. Their effectiveness is enhanced by the incorporation of
1) viscosity modifiers which allow finer atomization and
longer suspension, creating more surface area and time for
contact with malodorous molecules; 2) flow promoters which
help to keep lines and nozzles from plugging; 3) polymers
which bond to malodorous molecules via electrostatic forces,
expanding the effectiveness of the products.
All
formulations can be spray atomized, used in topical spray
applications, in scrubbers and as additives into sludges,
wastewater and other malodorous substrates. They are superior,
yet economic replacements for masking agents, deodorizers,
acid/base products and the like -- wherever they are being
used.
FORMULA S:
Use for sulfur-based odors such as hydrogen sulfide, mercaptan,
sulfur dioxide, dimethyl sulfide.
FORMULA N: Use for nitrogen-based odors such as ammonia,
amine, indole, skatole, cadaverine.
FORMULA O: Use for common cooking odors, smoke and
chemical odors.
Application rates for all formulations are largely dictated by
the intensity of malodor. The precise application rate must be
determined on-site. Intensity variations occur and application
rates may need periodic adjustment. All formulations are
supplied in concentrated liquid form and are diluted before
applying, as shown below.
